I’m sick of debating over gay marriage. Personally, I’m for it for many reasons. The main reason being that I think restricting it is putting a gate up on the love we allow in our nation, in our state, in our communities, and in our homes. Love should always be limitless, because in any form, it’s beautiful.

But these people want to pretend that they’re logical thinkers. So, let’s get logical.

The ONE AND ONLY “viable” argument is that your God says it’s wrong, or that marriage is a religious ceremony meant to be between a man and a woman; however, marriage is defined as a social union or legal contract.

Here’s the kicker: See that word up there? “Legal”? We’re now talking LAW, not religion. And there’s such a thing as separation of church and state. Therefor, your God’s opinion on the matter is irrelevant.

That is the simple answer to the matter of legalizing same-sex marriage. Easy, right? No bible, no counter argument. Bill passed.

On the issue of moral concern, I say this:

The truest Christians I know support Gay marriage. They let God’s love empower them. The ones that don’t were told not to by their parent, priest, or whoever at a young age. They were also told they are worthless, filthy sinners and don’t deserve God’s love. They were raised in ignorance and fear. They’ve never really had a mind all to themselves, but we don’t all have to live in fear. Just accept real love into your heart, shut your hatey preach holes, and let people be happy.
